Fen Drayton Parish Council helps to organise, oversee and regulate the provision of local services and amenties in Fen Drayton.

Working alongside voluntary organisations and other tiers of local government, the council allocates funds and also serves as a sounding board for local opinion.

By law, the parish council must:

  • Hold an annual meeting

  • Hold at least three other meetings a year

  • Appoint such officers required for the proper discharge of its functions, including an officer responsible for the proper administration of financial affairs

  • Initiate standing orders for the supply of goods and services to the council.
